What we collect on this website and for a Line Three account, why, and for how long. The content of your API requests is covered by the data policy: we keep none of it.

Applies now: the contact form
This section is in effect today. If you use the contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name, organization, role, email address, who you are, the topic, the optional team size, buying route and whether someone sets up software for you, and your message. We use it only to answer you.
It is stored on servers Asen Technology owns and operates itself, in the United States; no hosting company or third-party form service is involved. Contact-form messages are kept 13 months, then deleted automatically. If a message is refused, what you typed is held in memory for up to 10 minutes so you can go back and fix it, and is never written to disk.
When a message arrives, a notice with its reference number, topic and who you are, and nothing else, is sent to our own self-hosted alerting so a person reads it promptly. Your name, email address and message are not in that notice, and no third party receives it.
Like any web server, ours sees your IP address. It is used to limit how many messages one address can send in an hour, and it is kept in connection logs for 30 days, for security. It is not saved in your message’s record, but for those 30 days the two could be matched by time.

Who we are

What this website collects
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other websites.
What the contact form collects, and for how long, is in the first section above, which applies now.
-
What we collect for an account
Your organization’s name and the contact details of its administrators; your monthly cap, monthly charges, payments, purchase orders and invoices; each key’s name and a one-way hash of it; and, for each API request, the time, the key, the model, tokens in and out, and the response status. Connection logs record the source IP address and time of each connection.
We never store the content of your prompts or of the answers.
-
How we use it
To answer your message, run your account, meter usage against your monthly cap, bill you, keep the service secure, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, do not use it for advertising, and do not use anything you send to train a model.
-
How long we keep it
Account: while the account is open, then as billing law requires.
Billing: as tax and billing law requires.
Keys: until you delete the key.
Usage: 13 months, for billing disputes, or 90 days if your administrator chooses.
Connection logs: 30 days, for security.
Contact-form messages: 13 months, then deleted automatically.
-
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will do it unless the law requires us to keep it. Use the contact form with the topic “Privacy or data question”. We answer within 30 days.
-
Security
Every administrative account uses multi-factor authentication, and every access to account, billing and usage records is written to an append-only access log. If we confirm a security incident that affects your records, we tell you within 72 hours of confirming it, and no later than 7 days after we discover it.
-
Changes to this notice
We publish any change here, with its date and a new version number, at least 30 days before it takes effect, and tell account administrators and your notices contact by email.
